Penny is a highly experienced archaeologist/forensic anthropologist with over 40 years of experience.  She holds a BA in Anthropology and an MA and PhD in Bioarchaeology.   She worked as Lead Bioarchaeologist in Cultural Resource Management for 25 years in the American Southwest, Northern Mexico, and Egypt.  In 2011 she joined the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency as a forensic archaeologist (Scientific Recovery Expert) conducting MIA recovery missions in the South Pacific, SE Asia, and Europe.  She retired from DPAA in 2019 and began working as a consultant SRE for private entities including Cranfield University and TERRA Search on MIA recovery missions for DPAA.
