Second Recovery mission in Sciacca, Sicily
TERRA Search embarked on its second mission in cooperation with the CRICC Team, in January 2022, running over six consecutive weeks from January to mid-March 2022. It was the first private partner mission that followed closely on the heels of one of DPAA’s organic (active duty) teams.

The environment, terrain and weather, were not welcoming. Intensive site preparation for both safety and operational purposes was necessary. TERRA Search team led the weeklong site preparation necessary to renew the recovery mission. Imbibing the mud was a daily experience.
